Anya M. Jones

Anya M. Jones is a litigation attorney who returned to Louisiana to attend law school, where she was an editor of the Journal of Race, Gender & Poverty and published for her work, “Full Faith but Credit Declined.”

Prior to joining Connick and Connick, Ms. Jones worked as a 40 th JDC judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Mary Hotard Becnel; a champion of military families throughout the country; and a litigator at New Orleans area law firms where she successfully handled insurance disputes, property damage claims, personal injury claims, FLSA class/collective actions, product liability claims, and commercial trucking cases. Ms. Jones is honored to have been named a Top Attorney by New Orleans Magazine three times and featured in Shades of Success, which honors outstanding women. At Connick and Connick, she primarily focuses on the defense of insurance carriers, premises liability claims, asbestos claims, and transportation and trucking litigation.
