Matthew D. Moghis was born in New Orleans and grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, with a pre-law concentration, he attended Loyola Law School in New Orleans.
While at Loyola, Mr. Moghis served as Research Assistant to Professor Shontavia Jackson, was a Member of the Journal of Public Interest Law, and worked at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office during his 2L and 3L years. Mr. Moghis has practiced civil casualty defense since earning his Juris Doctor in 2011, including trucking defense, premises liability, automobile liability, and construction defect litigation. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts.
